Join us at the Ireland House for a free lunchtime performance featuring award-winning Irish poet Luke Morgan and a Chicago musician. The event will include a 15 minute reading with discussion, live music and Q&A.

Luke Morgan is a young poet from Galway. Morgan's latest collection, "Blood Atlas " is an exploration in lineage and ancestry. Featuring poetry steeped in the landscapes and traditions of his native Ireland, this event is a must attend for those with connections to the Emerald Isle, familial or spiritual. Luke is the recipient of the Lawrence O’Shaughnessy Award 2025, an award given annually by the University of St. Thomas, Minnesota. Luke’s poem ‘Clot’ was the poem of the week in the Irish Times last week.

As well as poetry, Luke is also part of an award-winning Irish filmmaker duo, "Morgan Brothers", with his brother, the composer Jake Morgan. He lives and works in Galway, Ireland. A light lunch will be served. Registration is required.
