That’s what former CIA chief and Obama’s Defense Secretary Leon Panetta called it. As of writing, President Biden has emerged from seclusion to speak to the bedlam of his Afghan withdrawal. "The Afghan military gave up, sometimes without trying to fight,” he said. Taliban and Al-Qaeda militants were reported having their biggest celebrations since 9-11-01.

They’ll likely be enjoying even bigger bashes on the absolute deadline Biden set for pulling out all troops - September 11th, 20th anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon that launched the war - no extension for worsening conditions on the ground.

Here ANTIFA and BLM have been “adjusting” the face of America for over a year with Molotov cocktails, destroying historical monuments, and re-defining language. As of now, one of the first signs of the Taliban adjusting Afghan culture to its liking, is its painting over of women’s images displayed on shopfronts. Perhaps the good news here for progressives is that, like some white-supremacist insurrectionist females in America, Afghan women may soon be forced to don cloth masks (despite their ineffectiveness).

Last month I mentioned that Commander in Chief Biden’s choice for Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, has invited the U.N. to investigate 'contemporary forms of racism', including systemic racism, in the USA, ‘land of the free’. Diplomats and U.N. officials in Geneva have agreed to establish “an international independent expert mechanism” to investigate police discrimination against people of African descent globally.

Blinken’s parents have made major bequests to the Central European University (CEU) founded by George Soros. Antony himself was named Chancellor of the International Council of the CEU.

Soros has accomplished the weakening and disruption of America’s justice system by funding progressive district attorneys and other officials into that system, including here in Chicago.

At the moment, Soros’ Open Society Foundations are pledging $20 million to jumpstart up to $100 million for a campaign to get progressives behind Biden's infrastructure and social welfare proposals, beyond his initial $1 trillion+ “infrastructure” plan. He’s also stated that China’s “development of infrastructure in Central Asia can be fully complementary to our own efforts."

In 2015 Soros favorite Blinken extolled Beijing, saying it "warily guards against the growing pull of extremist ideology among its youth." That’s pretty tepid phrasing for the forced sterilization, forced relocation, and servile labor imposed on the Uighurs in concentration camps.

Asked in Congress whether the Obama administration would provide lethal aid to Ukraine, Blinken answered: "the question of defensive lethal assistance has never been off the table… indeed, the vice president (Biden) will be in Ukraine in the next few days, and I’m sure that will be a topic of discussion." As Russia continued assaults on Ukraine, the aid never arrived until the Trump administration, generally averse to foreign aid, finally provided it. Biden’s son Hunter was a director on the board of Burisma - a Ukrainian-owned energy company while his father was Obama's point man on US-Ukrainian relations.

In April CNN reported: "Secretary of State Tony Blinken... whose relationship with Biden extends for decades... when asked if Biden had made a mistake in saying that he could not see US troops in Afghanistan by the end of year", said "I think that's not a mistake at all,' he told the Washington Post."

Writing in 1942, George Orwell said that 'Kipling is the only English writer of our time who has added phrases to the language'. One phrase is: “Oh, East is East and West is West, and never the twain shall meet.” Of the Afghan Border Crisis of 1884-1885 he wrote: “When you're wounded and left on Afghanistan's plains, and the women come out to cut up what remains, jest roll to your rifle and blow out your brains and go to your gawd like a soldier.”

Afghanistan’s been occupied by many empires, from Persia in the 7th century B.C., through Alexander, The Arab Caliphate, The Mongols, Tamerlane, the Mughals, Sikhs, British, Soviets and the U.S. Now China and Russia are eyeing opportunities there.

It's such a shame though about Afghanistan. Progressives have likely lost their best chance of ever converting Afghans to the belief that men can give birth.
