Would you like to claim the title of being the World's Greatest Irish Singer?

If so, here are the 2021 CONTEST RULES

Contestants are asked to submit an audio recording which will be evaluated by a professional judge or singer. Each Judgee will select 3 - 5 finalists and a member of the Irish American Alliance will select the winner from these finalists.

Entries are limited to a single singer.

Songs must be Irish in origin or from the Irish diaspora.

All types of music are accepted and creativity in development of style and personal interpretation are encouraged.

Open to professional and amateur singers without prejudice.

Dates subject to change if management deems necessary.

UNDER 12 - Competition is age 11 or younger on 1-1-2021

UNDER 19 - Competitor is age 17 or younger on 1-1-2021

OVER 18 - Competitor is age 18 or older on 1-1-2021

Entries cap at 400, with the first 135 in each category.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three winners in each of the three age categories.

In addition, a single award may be given (at the Irish American Alliance discretion) for a distinguished entry that provided a unique concept or performance.


Entry Fee $25 US per competitor

Complete registration no later than January 15, 2021

Submission Deadline for recordings - February 15, 2021

Awards and Winners released at a Zoom celebration on February 28, 2021

$1,000 US to Top Performer in each category!
$500 US for 2nd Place and $250 for 3rd Place

Each participant will be awarded a Gold, Silver or Bronze medal to commemorate participation
